Do not bring the Second Amendment into this courtroom. It doesn’t exist here. So you can’t argue Second Amendment. This is New York. — Judge Abena Darkeh
America has a serious jurisprudence problem. And there is no easy fix. I have long held that we need a minimum IQ test for any sitting judge; 95 seems exceedingly fair. But we are far beyond that common sense check having any meaningful effect. We now confront activists who are actively hostile to the ideals that undergird the Republic. They do not believe in limited government, they do not believe in individual rights, and most of all they do not believe in the Constitution they swore an oath to defend. Accordingly the best advice is to do everything within your power to not become subject to the whims of these black-robed totalitarians.
The vast anti-Trump lawfare conspiracy decloaked this week in piece penned (of course) by a former DOJ prosecutor. The outlines of it were always clearly visible to anyone paying attention, so the question is why this and why now. I think it is because the conspirators want to make sure they get proper credit for what they view is the considerable public service of treating Trump as an organized crime boss and thus denying him a second term. Make no mistake, Trump is going to be convicted on absurd election tampering charges in New York of the kind that once were laughed out of court when brought against former North Carolina Senator and POTUS candidate John Edwards. No, it is not illegal to spend money to hide embarrassing things. But here we are; with no Plan B. My Plan B was for Trump to drop out to fight the lawfare cabal 24/7 and endorse Vivek Ramaswamy in his stead, not because I think Vivek is most qualified candidate but because it would have utterly short circuited the vast array of the Spook State assets deployed to target Trump. Maybe that is still possible, although I doubt it. All that is left is waiting for the RNC to run for the tall grass when the verdict comes down.

Hed of the week, psychopath edition:
It will come as zero surprise to you that what got Tucker Carlson fired from FOX News was attempting to do a deep dive on January 6th, the Capitol Police, and Ray Epps.
Just as you thought everything was going to hell, rest assured that they are still bribing voters in Robeson County. You have to admit that having a bail bonds shop forgive your monthly payments in exchange for your vote is pretty creative.
The Secret Service hired an unhinged woman who had previously unsuccessfully sued the Dallas PD for discrimination (over and over) and then she went all mental and attacked the agent in charge of Vice President Kamala Harris’ security detail. Yep, totally unforeseeable.
The National Institutes of Health (sic) refuses to disclose how much money it has made from the Moderna COVID vax that does nothing except maybe cause cancer. Wonder why?
